Enrico Caruso went to bed in his hotel room after he had sung Carmen at the Grand Opera House. When he woke up, he and his bed were on Market street. It was at 5:12 AM when the San Francisco earthquake of April 18, 1906 woke him up. That illustrates what a Black Swan event is. It is something 100 times beyond what we would expect to happen. In the early morning, Caruso was on the street with no hotel to live in, no electricity, no running water, no  sewers, no railroads and the city around him on fire and. It took him 2 days to go 27 miles (45 kilometers) to Stanford University. He never went back to San Francisco.

Caruso had just experienced a Black Swan event.

Nassim Nicholas Taleb in his 2007 book The Black Swan, described these events by three key attributes: extreme rarity, massive impact, and retrospective predictability.

A Black Swan event is something well beyond what we are prepared for. Investors have to make decisions about what is in their range of possible events.

Californians expect a Black Swan event as least as powerful as the 1906 earthquake. The Cascades fault could destroy everything west of the I-5 highway in the US Pacific Northwest according to a FEMA regional manager. We can have building codes to sort of halfway prepare us for an inevitable future. Residents living along the New Madrid fault from Memphis to St Louis are living in death trap cities.

Neither investors nor governments are prepared for what the future has in store for them.

Is your government prepared for even an 8.35 quake which would release the same amount of energy as two 25 megaton Hydrogen bombs? A 9.35 quake on the Richter scale would release 31.4 times as much energy. That would be 31.4 times 25 megatons or 785 million tons  (712 kilotons) of TNT.

Europeans do not seem to be prepared for earthquakes and volcanoes in Greece, in Italy’s Campi Flegrei and Mt Etna and Spain’s Canary Islands. No European government is prepared for housing 5 to 10 million refugees.

Scientists have discovered that the Cascade and Andreas faults in the past have triggered each other. Americans should be prepared to house 30 million people who have experienced the following: an injury, a loss of housing due to an earthquake or fire or a disease caused by the lack of sewers, clean water and a reduced immune system due to an extreme lack of food. But no government is prepared to feed, provide housing and transportation and medical care for  that many people.

There have been several major earthquakes in Asia in the modern era:

The largest was the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia (magnitude 9.2–9.3), which killed over 227,000 people. That was the Boxing Day tsunami.

The Tōhoku earthquake, Japan: Magnitude 9.0 caused approximately 19,759 fatalities and a devastating tsunami which resulted in 3 nuclear reactors being shutdown.

The biggest earthquake in recorded history was in Chile in 1960. It was a magnitude 9.5. It shook along a 1,000 kilometer (622 mile) line for up to 10 minutes.

Nobody seems to understand that the Sun can send more energy than we are prepared to receive. The Carrington Event of September 1–2, 1859 was triggered by a massive solar flare, which was followed by a coronal mass ejection (CME) that reached Earth in just 17.6 hours. The only electrical devices of the time were telegraphs. But, if another Carrington event happened today, 90% of the people living in cities and suburbs would be dead in less than a year.

People have suggested that we spend a few billion dollars hardening our electrical infrastructure. Some have suggested we start building large scale transformers as  it takes from 2 to 4 years to build one depending on its size.

If you had lost your electricity, you would probably want it restored in less than 4 years. I knew someone who lost her electricity in Montreal for a week in 1989. Residents in rural areas lost their electricity for up to a month. That was also caused by a geomagnetic storm.

For some reason that has not happened.

There are 9 bridges that cross the Mississippi river near the New Madrid fault.

Years ago I suggested to an official in the area that it would be a good idea to build a bridge section by section so we could buy heavy lift Russian helicopters to fly the sections to the right river crossing where we would assemble them. We could use those helicopters to do disaster relief in the US or neighboring countries like Mexico, Canada or the Caribbean or even Central America. Or to help put out wildfires in Canada and the US.

On July 21, 365 BC, an 8.0–8.5 fault slip earthquake in the Hellenic Trench near Crete produced a catastrophic tsunami. The waves were over 30 metres (98 feet) high. That devastated Alexandria, Egypt, and coastal cities across the eastern and southern Mediterranean, killing tens of thousands. It would kill far more people today. No government in the Mediterranean is prepared to deal with earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis that have killed tens of thousands in the past and would kill millions today.

America also needs to do $9 trillion in infrastructure repair. America has more than 615,000 bridges. Beyond the 46,000 in poor condition, an additional 81,000 bridges need replacement, and roughly 220,000 require repair work.

The average American driver spends approximately $571 annually on repairs and extra gas due to poor road conditions.

The Powers That Ought Not To Be used the media and politicians from both of their political parties to focus on problems overseas while neglecting to prepare for the survival of the country they have neglected for the last century.

The Sun has been sending larger amounts of energy to us than we normally expect. That increased energy in our atmosphere has energized a series of very intense storms. For example, China has had more than their share of storms and floods with millions of people losing their homes. Chinese experts have projected that 200 to 300 million people could lose their homes, schools, farms, places of work, roads, hospitals, cars, trucks and all of their personal possessions in the very near future.

Nassim Taleb said, in retrospect we should have known what was coming.

There is only one institution with the logistical capacity to help millions of people all over the globe. That would be the US military.

I would suggest that we change the focus of the US military from occupying nations to make it capable of helping millions of people we know will needs us in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Mediterranean.

America’s politicians of both parties have had the US military bogged down in one unwinnable forever war after another since the 1990s. The US has 750 military bases overseas in 80 countries. The US bases in Korea, Japan, the Mideast are occupying those nations in behalf of the interests of the Powers That Ought Not To Be. When the Biden administration blew up the Nordstream pipeline and ruined the economy of Europe, Wall Street’s puppets in Europe literally said nothing in protest.

When the US Military Industrial Complex offered protection to the Arab states, there always was the implied threat that the CIA and the US military would stage a coup and assassinate any puppet who did not obey.

Disobedient people are called terrorists. Though some of those terrorists were hired by the CIA and MI-6 to kill people. A few even videotaped themselves beheading people and committing random acts of cannibalism.

Dr Michael Hudson once gave a lecture at the Pentagon where he explained how we forced people overseas to buy our really worthless Treasury bonds. We made them pay for us to occupy their nations by exporting inflation to them. When a general realized how this system worked, he said, “Wow. We are ripping people off.”

In my last article, I explained that we have 50,000 military personnel in harms way in the Mideast and that our air defense system has a 0.0% chance of protecting them from Iran’s newest missile.

Why did we attack Iran? Not to stop Iran from acquiring an atomic bomb. Their leader had issued a dictate forbidding its development. Not to open the Strait of Hormuz. It was open.

Unwinnable Forever wars give our rulers, who cannot be named, control over us. Wars also give them an opportunity to rob the taxpayers. As I showed in that last article, Catherine Austin Fitts has a series of reports and investigations detailing how they stole $50 trillion from us. She said we could audit the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to recover tens of trillions. We might want to use that money to avoid default or what the Davos crowd would call the Great Reset.

This is their plan. Hyperinflate the US dollar until everything you own belongs to the people running Davos, our media, our politicians and our Foundations.

The people running Davos have said that we need to reduce the world’s population by about 7 billion. Do you think there is a someone powerful enough and cares enough about you and your family to intervene and put you and yours on their very special Do Not Kill List?

I suggested in that latest article that we use the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office and forever end all Unwinnable Forever wars.

I said we should close more than 700 overseas military bases so we could cut down on that trillion dollar annual deficit. I have made other suggestions involving reforming the Federal Reserve that could save America from bankruptcy. Those same monetary and banking reforms do a lot to eliminate poverty around the world.

I want to write another article explaining the whys of how humans came to make such terrible decisions. And how America, which started with such good intentions, was reduced to accepting Genocidal Maniacs as people we should be defending.
