Q: IS YOUR SERVICE LEGAL?
A: Absolutely. Within the United States girls can marry as young as 13 years old with parental permission, and the Bride Price is a custom of long standing, mentioned many times in the Bible, and as such is a protected religious practice. Click HERE for a listing of the age limits and legal requirements in various states. Click HERE for what the Bible says on Bride Price.

Q: WHAT IS A BRIDE PRICE?
A: The bride price is an ancient custom, somewhat like a dowry. A man wishing to marry a woman would offer her family a Bride Price in cash or kind, or sometimes offer to work for their family.

For more on the Bride Price, see:

HERE
or
HERE
or
HERE

Q: CAN AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE BE A HAPPY ONE?
A: If both parties work hard at it, yes, it can. The divorce rate for arranged marriages is exactly the same as those for marriages that are not pre-arranged.

Q: WHY IS YOUR SERVICE LIMITED TO MEN FROM AMERICA?
A: We need to be able to follow up on the satisfaction of our customers, which is too difficult to do in foreign countries.

Q: WHAT IF MY MARRIAGE DOESN’T WORK OUT?
A: We feel that marriage is a lifetime commitment. But in the unhappy event that your marriage doesn’t work out, then whatever conditions have been negotiated between the husband and the wife’s family will apply. Remember, we are an introduction service – we do not finalize arrangements between bride and groom nor are we involved in enforcing agreements

Q: WHAT IF NO ONE PROPOSES TO MY DAUGHTER?
A: In the unlikely event that no one proposes after six months, we will return 50 percent of your listing fee.

Q:WHAT IF NO ONE ACCEPTS MY PROPOSAL?
A: In that case, you might want to closely examine how you are proposing and how carefully you are matching your likes and dislikes, your goals and dreams, to those of your prospective bride.

read the testimonials - I think it's a joke

I think it's a joke, due to the testimonial pages.

Plus, who would have the reduced daughter price of 5 grand, along with the 99 grand little floozie that wants to be in the movies?

"Thank God for your site! Our daughter was really nervous walking down the aisle, but she seems okay now and the money we got let us keep our farm and even add on a few acres."

—Mrs. Addrien L.

"At first we were worried that Janine was too young to get married, but then her new husband bought her a house and a car and jewelry and the money we got let us buy a house for ourselves. Getting out of the trailer park at our age was the best thing that ever happened to us, and it’s all thanks to Marry Our Daughter!"

—Mr. Jack M.

“I was SO scared getting married so young, but my husband is an okay guy and I am SO proud that because of me my parents were able to get their first brand- new car and take the trip they always wanted to. I couldn’t have done it without your site!"

—Katrina K., married at 14

“Our 15 year old daughter Mary wasn’t very popular and did nothing but mope around the house bringing everybody down, so we decided to marry her off through your site. Now our house is a lot cheerier and we love our new swimming pool and Jaccuzi! We’ve told our youngest that when she turns 15 we’re going to marry her off too!"

—Mrs. James P.

Do not propose to multiple Daughters or all your proposals will be rejected.

Not mormons. Sounds like trailer trash Christians if this for real. Does anyone have the software to trace the owner of the site? They might have other registered sites that would give them away. I remember Mike Rivero traced an Al Qaeda website to a Jewish porn site owner in the U.S.

The Marry Our Daughter website is down. Google says that none of the three men have any online Google history. That might only mean that they are using fake names. Or it could mean that they are for real and have never run a website before. There is an address in Fallon, Nevada for one of the men.

Oh, sure, it's real!

That's where I met my lovely bride!

And next year when she's old enough to get a drivers license she can get a job and pay me back the dowry.

Or else I'll put her little ass on the stroll in fishnet stockings! ;)

It's a gag site, just like the hilarious hoax called BONSAI KITTENS!

Do you remember that one?

They put kittens in various glass tubes and jars and "grew" them in unique shapes and sizes!

It caused an outrage with animal activists and the site creators had to tell everyone that it was done with Photo shopped pix.

From the website:

"lobstah@amway.com Months ago, you have masterfully shaped my kitten into a trapezoid; however, now, the 45-degree angle on the tail side is weakining, making her more of a rhombus than anything. Although, I could reinforce the front side with the angular clamps you sell, I'm afraid she might turn out to be a parallelogram. Any tips?"

The website is back up. I cannot say it is a gag or that it is not. Christians can get pretty weird.

Whenever you read a "testimonial" about getting out of a trailer park, especially on a site that's supposedly Biblically-based (and the obvious thing about marrying girls off that young, which is a favorite stereotype of people who feel superior to rural, Southern white fundies) you can bet it's a gag.

If the testimonials were real they'd speak of "God's mandate" and a "young woman fulfilling her purpose" and such instead of paying bills, buying cars, etc.,.
