As soon as Argentina’s President, Javier Milei, landed in Israel, he went straight to the Western Wall – and this was his reaction. His prayers turned to tears, he put a note in the Western Wall, and he then hugged Rabbi Shimon Axel Wahnish, his personal Rabbi, who has accompanied him on this three-day trip.
Wahnish is expected to become Argentina’s ambassador to Israel.
Milei also confirmed that he will be moving Argentins’s Embassy to Jerusalem.
