Trade routes are taking longer to deliver. Shippers can raise rates. This will raise costs to consumers. Critical parts will be delayed. This will not end well.

"US owned" is not sufficient to make them a US concern. Houtis are only attacking cargo ships headed for Israeli ports; and if the owners don't want to risk their ships, don't go therre.
