Gonzalo Lira, Sr. says his son has died at 55 in a Ukrainian prison, where he was being held for the crime of criticizing the Zelensky and Biden governments. Gonzalo Lira was an American citizen, but the Biden administration clearly supported his imprisonment and torture. Several weeks ago we spoke to his father, who predicted his son would be killed.

Confirmed just moment's ago. A man who tried to help other men, is gone.

I haven't followed Gonzalo much, but from what little I know, livestreaming his attempted escape from Ukraine might've been the last mistake he ever made.

I don't think he live streamed it. I think he recorded it 1-2 hours before reaching the border, and posted it just before attempting to cross. That's what I would have done.

Certainly hindsight is 20/20 and he talked about the impracticality of trying to cross somewhere other than a formal check point, but it's hard to imagine that wouldn't have been a better way out of Ukraine. Or better yet, instead of Hungary, cross into Belarus. Far better chance of being safe in their hands.

For some reason I'm under the impression that he did, I might be wrong. It was a long time ago. I'm back in the habit of getting the info and forgetting about it again. I had to do it in the old days, and I have to do it again with all the perversions going on now. I won't even take pics of acquaintances anymore because I'm tired of my android reminding me of dead friends. It would eat me alive from the inside-out if I dwelled on what the freakshow is doing to the children now (see tagline).

I used to have a team of folks that worried about that so I could focus on my job. I had some training in evasion, but it was limited. If they hadn't done their job, I'd be dead.

Gonzalo was walking alone, his ego was the cause of his death, IMHO.
