I'm unclear on what the point of lying about that would be, where I can certainly understand why not making details about his woman public would be prudent.
I wore a Trump mugshot T-shirt that my sister sent me to a get together New Year's Eve day, and it caused my buddy's wife to completely come unhinged in a frightening psychotic meltdown. I wouldn't have wanted my GF, a medical doctor, to be exposed to that among other things that go on at his house.
PJW is a divisive character and I'm sure there'd be plenty of nutjobs lining up to harm his girl.
