Thanks for posting.

interesting...

3 Feb 1967
Producer Joe Meek shot his landlady Violet Shenton and then shot himself at his flat in London, Meek produced The Tornadoes hit 'Telstar', the first No.1 in the US by a British group. Meek was interested in spirituality and often attended séances. At one such meeting in 1958 he was warned that Buddy Holly would die on February 3. Meek tried his best to find Holly when he was in London to warn him but failed in his mission. Holly died on February 3, 1959.

Most curious indeed.

yeah...I thought so...I did a little looking around...I was interested because "American Pie" is believed by some people to be a coded prophecy for America.

Some more tidbits that probably mean absolutely nothing, but I found them interesting as well...

...The Marked Men, a Texas punk band, have a song titled "Someday" with lyric: "Joe Meek wanted all the world to know about the news he found."... (??)

Thomas Truax regularly performed his Meek tribute "Joe Meek Warns Buddy Holly" on his 2008 tours, a song apparently about Meek's supposed warning via spirit-writing predicting Buddy Holly's death. A single and accompanying video was scheduled for release on 3 February 2009, the 50th anniversary of Holly's demise, also the date of Meek's suicide.[39]...

In 2005, Cane 141 released a B-Side called "Joe Meek Shall Inherit The Earth". The name is a pun on Joe Meek's name and the Bible verse Matthew 5:5 where Jesus (during the Sermon on the Mount) is quoted as saying "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."...

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Meek

I read an article questioning whether Meek really committed suicide, or whether it was really two murders. I have no idea, but the Illuminati is huge in the music world. It came to mind that 'Joe Meek Shall Inherit the Earth' might also be read 'Joe Meek Bites the Dust'. Who knows.

[edit: "I think that most people can “sense” that there is something eerily and profoundly deep about the Don McLean song “American Pie”. Perhaps many, however, are partially satisfied with the prevailing theory that this riveting, poignant, cryptic hymn deals primarily with the deaths of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. “Big Bopper” Richardson on February 3, 1959, in a fiery plane crash in Iowa. I am certainly not satisfied with that theory; there is clearly much, much more to the song than a tribute to these rock legends and a young man’s regret over lost innocence. Rather, this prophetic song, indeed like a Bible prophecy itself, contains both a surface layer or layers of meaning including “types” or “allusions”, as well as a much deeper, more profound layer of significance and eventual fulfillment...

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE SONG AMERICAN PIE IS ABOUT MISS AMERICA, NOT MISS BUDDY HOLLY

Indeed, absolutely! The album was dedicated to Buddy Holly, it is not about Buddy Holly..."

I have to also wonder if Holly's plane was messed with for some reason. How REALLY did Joe Meek know Holly would die on February 3? What was the news he wanted the whole world to know about? Anything to see here? Or not? Inquiring minds want to know...]
