We are seeing the breakdown of Dollar hegemony and the petrodollar. Even though many countries are taking steps to rid themselves of Dollar dependence, the American public remains unaware of what is about to befall them. "This is why most people aren't successful at investing: because they don't make a move until after the direction is totally obvious." When the public wakes up and tries to protect themselves with physical precious metals, there will be no product available, Schectman says.
I sincerely doubt that Silver is going to be in such high demand that it can’t be bought let alone acquired seeing as how silver is a pretty common metal.

Silver is used up when applied to various applications, unlike gold and many other precious metals.
There was a process for recovering silver from used solutions from developing film from photographs. But that seems to have gone by the wayside because of digital technology.
However, the typesetting and headline industry still uses these processes to set headlines for commercial advertisements. ;)
