Sizable Minority of Americans View Biden as a Cheat
The discrepancies in reports about the 2020 presidential election continue to linger to this very day. It’s impossible to simply forget about the individuals who signed sworn affidavits that they came across voter fraud.
Likewise, one cannot simply cease to recall various reports of individuals getting multiple ballots in the mail. Other people reported that when they went to the polls to cast their ballots, they were told they already voted.
In light of all the claims about the 2020 presidential election, several Republican-led states have begun passing election integrity laws. Despite the phony narrative of Jim Crow racism that Democrats want Americans to believe, election integrity laws are about ensuring no cheating or foul play happens.
Nevertheless, as Biden approaches the one-year milestone of his presidency, Washington Examiner reports there is still a sizeable percentage of the country that views him as a cheat.
The Debated Legitimacy of Biden’s Presidency
Rasmussen Reports currently documents the reality that 34% of Americans are of the view that Biden failed to “fairly” win the 2020 presidential election. This outlook is held by 61% of GOP voters, 13% of Democrat voters, and 29% of voters without ties to either of the aforementioned political parties.
In more bad news for Democrats, this poll additionally shows that 83% of US voters acknowledge the importance of ensuring cheating doesn’t occur in elections. Meanwhile, three out of four American voters remain supportive of photo ID requirements in order to vote.
Since June 2021, the overall collective of Americans who view Biden as a cheat regarding the presidency has dropped by a few percentage points. Nevertheless, to have more than three in ten voters professing the president did not fairly win the election is serious business.
Former President Trump has continued to attribute Biden’s current position in the White House to a result of voter fraud that went unchecked. Likewise, Trump is determined to help House and Senate Republicans regain control of their chambers.
Here to Stay?
Quite frankly, there will likely always be a percentage of voters who view Biden as an illegitimate president. This is something that both Biden and the Democrats will simply have to learn to deal with.
