Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said that there would be no investigation into who might have funded the protesters who attacked him and his wife in August after they left the president's closing speech at the Republican National Convention.

Paul tweeted that he was informed by the U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C., of the decision to not pursue the investigation.

The DC U.S. Attorney today confirmed to me that they will not pursue an investigation of who is funding the thugs who attacked my wife and me and sent a DC police officer to the hospital. Trump War Room - Text TRUMP to 88022

"My feeling is there is interstate criminal traffic being paid for across states lines...they flew here on a plane, they all got fresh new clothes, and they were paid to be here. It is a crime to do that and it needs to be traced."

This is because Trump is pretending to fight all of this stuff to the end when he will ceremoniously concede in Trump’s very outspoken fashion.

I think it is best if we all just assume the worst, prepare for it, and then get ready to act for when they go door to door.

This fight is real. Powell and Lin Wood are real. Ditto Rudy.

I wish I had an ounce of optimism. I really wish I had not gone full on cynic but the last 20 years have just destroyed what little optimism I had in this country.

I knew when I was a child that I would experience the End of the Age when I was elderly. Every evil you see will collapse. I do not mean End of the Age in a Biblical sense. I mean it in the histories reveled by Native American elders. This is the third or some say 4th End of the Age the world has seen. A dramatic killing off of the world's population followed by a period of rebuilding and then by a Golden Age when the reduced population has created a far better civilization.

The Evil Ones will be going away.

I do expect a Civil War.
