It’s a controversial church with millions of followers around the world known as the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Thousands of Canadians belong to congregations here. INC church members in the Philippines are accused of financial irregularities, kidnapping and even the murder of a Canadian man. The church denies the allegations.

They don't even want newsmongers to photograph the Dear Leader. Had no idea of any of this.

I'm tempted to give them the benefit of the doubt vs. that MSM Canadian reportage.

Only you would say something wishy-washy like that about these obvious criminals.

I'm not taking the MSM press word for anything. Don't know anything about the Filipino church but I do know the press are liars.

You post and email major media stuff every day, and should. Why would they lie about this church which is bringing so much of the brown dieversity the MSM love to Canada?

Post very little stuff from the MSM and I hope readers will require confirmation. Most of my postings are from alternative sources.

This smelled like a hit piece. Long interview with a couple complaining about the noise involved with building a church and how their son couldn't sleep. Believable, I'm sure. Not so believable are claims of kidnapping and murder. Perhaps the church knew something about the reporter that caused them to avoid interviews. Looks like a planned ambush.

They don't even want people fotograffing their Dear Leader. I hardly think a woman would baselessly claim they killed her husband, esp. with the church being in with Duterte and other politicians.

That would alas be just like weird aliens to work on a building till midnight like that lady said, cf. the Asians that buy a posh house in London and disrupt the whole street for months extending the basement etc.

You just happen to have sent me stuff from the NYT (2) and Christian Science Monitor yesterday :-1

Cannot necessarily blame them for that. Many of the top religious leaders in the Philippines seem both camera shy and public speaking shy. From the sneering tone of the youtube narrator could he be a Roman Catholic Canadian just carrying on with their 100 year old feud?

Searched for info on the church and I could only find this group making kidnapping and murder accusations. This is one huge church that we Americans have never heard of--bigger than 7th Day Adventists and Jehovah's Witnesses. (I think I pass one of them every week on my way to grocery shopping and thought it was Spanish.)

Most of the Google stuff was about debates between them and other religious denominations and the Boss did not participate. They seem to be primarily anti-Roman Catholic and supposedly the church was founded to give the Filipinos an alternate to the R.C. church which had been dominating the country. (Duterte, incidentally, calls the R.C. bishop of Manila very nasty names but seems to get along with these guys) I send MSM stuff in emails in attempt to answer questions. Don't post that much of it here.

You of course personally witnessed 9/11 from a very special vantage point.

It's a CBC news report, and they're not exactly known for their devotion to "JMJ"!

You rightly ply people with lots of MSM material, and it's irrelevant where in cyberspace you do it.

The NY Post article probably wouldn't interest the 4um or anyone other than a New Yorker. I posted three 9/11 articles today--One from American Conservative, one from MintPress and the third from Paul Craig Roberts. Alternative press every one of them.

Yes, I was walking down Church Street on 9/11 when the first plane hit. Thought it was an accident as planes have crashed into NYC buildings before until I got home and found out about the second plane.

Source is something called "Silent No More". For all I know it might be true but it was not objective reporting. Red flags all over the place.

Do you have any ill-effects from all the stuff in the air those days?

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

No. If anyone in my family had health problems, it would be my son who was in the National Guard and who spent a few months helping direct traffic along Canal Street in lower Manhattan.

We did have a friend who worked for the telephone company inside the ruins of the WTC and who died of lung cancer about 10 years ago. Whether what he was breathing in had anything to do with it, I don't know.

If I'm not mistaken the Post article didn't even interest you. Was primarily intended for Toby and Erik.

95% of Americans say the media is not to be trusted and that includes the Canadian. Your article appears to be a propaganda piece with the aim of destabilizing an ally of Duterte. The CIA does not like Duterte and would like to see him replaced.
