In the wake of Glenn Beck's hugely successful Restoring Honor rally held in Washington, D.C. this weekend, the Huffington Post has published an offer of $100,000 to anyone with evidence that would destroy Beck's reputation and take him off the political/cultural battlefield.
An essay written by Beau Friedlander, the last editor-in-chief of Air America before it shut down this year, was posted in the Politics section of the Huffington Post today with the title, $100,000 For Glenn Beck's Sex Tape.
Friedlander says he will not use his own money for the hit, but that he will "broker" the deal.
It is time to pop the tea baggers' favorite balloon (so what if it will be replaced by another?), and with that in mind I hereby offer to negotiate a $100,000 payday to the person who will come forward with a sex tape or phone records or anything else that succeeds in removing Glenn Beck from the public eye forever. I am not offering the cash myself, but I will broker the deal and/or raise the money for what you bring to the table. (And it better be good.)

Friedlander couches his offer in the context of Andrew Breitbart's offer of $100,000 for the Journolist listserve messages, but this is more in line with pornographer Larry Flynt's blackmail campaign against Congressmen during Bill Clinton's impeachment, which followed a threat from Clinton conveyed by George Stephanopoulos to expose their sex lives.
Likewise, the Huffington Post has ties to the Obama White House, raising the question of whether the White House is behind this targeting of Beck.

Let's not forget that the big rewards for exposing conservo hypocrites were posted by Larry Flynt, usually to nail those who postured as "family values" reps and who also voted against Flynt's interests, but who in their private moments could have earned stardom in Hustler Magazine.
And because "so called conservos" are the first to attack on moral grounds they invite these big payoffs to prove their rank hypocrisy.
If Rush Limbaugh was out about his fondness for little brown island boys' asses, who could attack him any more than they could attack Barney Frank?
But, in his haste to stick it to Clinton Rush went so far as to call Hillary a "beautiful woman" and pretending not to understand "Bale's" affair with America's Sweetheart Monica Lewinsky. If we learn that Rush (who is sometimes married, or is she also a "beard" like the FLA governor's wife?) also seeks other outlets for his "energies", and further they involve poor cabin boys who are forced by desperation to survive into prostitution then we'd see his compliments for "beautiful Hillary" in a new light, agreed?

Something's going on that affords Glenn Beck a setting and a stage to lay out much of the truth spiced up with Islamo-fascism and pro-Israel rhetoric. I listen to Beck daily and have for years, primarily because he's all that's available to me.
I'm conflicted about Beck because he's able to get those people that are good and have good intentions to listen to him but he keeps them ignorant of the big picture that would cause them to investigate the FED RESERVE and the State of Israel.
He is extremely dangerous because half truths are really lies.
In spite of Beck's ability to shield people from the "whole" truth and his constant fear mongering re the Islamo-Fascists, I have to wonder too about the people themselves that accept half truths or lies because it gives them cover and allows them to carry on without truly dealing with the deeper evils.

There is enough on Glenn Beck already if people just paid attention. That video about how he can use Vicks to "cry on cue" should be enough to show people that he is a phony or "just an entertainer." And his schtick ceases to be entertaining soon enough, at least it did for me.

He is a major contender because the elite-lizard-puppeteers who each election pick the two stooges that represent "no choice at all, really" have decided that Beck can be useful.
It must be great fun for them to watch Americans rip fur from each other's flanks defending or opposing the blackmailed or otherwise controlled wife beater, pedophile, commie deep cover, etc., candidates they select.

You write to suggest that Beck is hideous like The Elephant Man or something, and he most certainly is not. In fact, any reasonably well groomed man with a good job will have women interested in hitching her hopes and dreams wagon to his tow motor.

You know it. A pontificating political hatchet man (Rush) wanted to make Bill Clinton's dalliances seem "even more terrible" by suggesting that Bill had no reason to seek sexual favors from Miss Monica The Chaste, what with his "meek and devoted little bride" (remember we're talking about Hillary) anxiously awaiting his attention.
