Thanks Eric.

Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.

I love this Mike and the Mechanics tune too.......

"The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. ... We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of." Edward Bernays, Father of Public Relations

Yeah, I almost posted that one just after the Silent Running vid. I like The Living Years too.

Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.

I love that song, Lod.

You're welcome - some of our best protesters/resistors come from way back.

There have always been the renegades: if only there were more of us.

Interesting, thanks.

The music killed the lyrics here on Who Owns You, and you're right about the vid on the second.

Good rendition on the vocals. (Although my HS choir did a pretty fine job with this one - it's a fun song to sing.)
