Notice the opposite-direction (from the presented first two) smoke plume down the street, which hasn't received any attention; so far. Notice that it exists in real-time with the main blast.
Literally, there's something wrong in this picture!

The mail box is later shown to still be standing. The bag is worth questioning, but can't be one of the devices.
What seems to be prominently missing is any images (or any significant reference) of the second explosion site. For all the smoke, it should be reasonably assumed that it, too, did some damage.

Interesting bit of video. Looking closely, you can see the 'third' (actually the first) plume of smoke develop beyond the 'classic' blast - prior to the 'first' blast!
JT, you know that on New Years Eve, at Times Square, and within the perimeters, the area is thoroughly swept with k-9 units looking for bombs. When this area is open for spectators, everybody is screened down and I don't believe backpacks are allowed. And this is in the middle of the winter where its freezing outside. Once you're admitted in, you get a stamp on your hand, and you can't leave the area even to go to the bathroom. If you do, you can't get back in.
No due diligence was done to protect the spectators at this marathon. Yes, I know, news reports are claiming an arrest has been made but I don't believe what I'm hearing.
You’re right about the NYE Times Square detail, purplerose. I worked it both in uniform and plain clothes, and once inside the barricades, you stayed until the ball dropped, or you decided to leave. As you could imagine, if people were allowed to come and go as they wanted, any order would break down instantly. I see what you see in Boston. Best case scenario, a fustercluck by the policing authorities. Worst case scenario, and the one I believe, is that this is another example of a government false flag carried out to hasten the enlargement of our ever growing police state.

I got a sneaking suspicion that this bomb in Boston was a gov't set up. It just fits too closely with things they have done in the past. According to the Feds, all of this bomb making info is available online. Excuse me, but I've never seen any of it online. Not that I've been looking for it, but you could have fooled me with all of the disinfo they have been spreading about it.
Now, the Muzzies would have maybe used Semtex, a cheap imitation of C-4. But this stuff built into pressure cookers really boggles my mind. ;)
