The grunts never knew what hit them, and FDR never bothered to tell them.
I wish the remaining WWII vets would take off their baseball caps, watch 'tubes like this and read a few books that dispel the notion that we were taken by surprise at PH. They need to become educated as to how they were used to push this nation into interventionism and globalism.

Hitler let himself be led into an invasion of Poland unaware that the British had given secret treaty assurances to Poland that they would go to war with Germany if that nation struck east into Polish territory.
Britain and France declared war against Germany, and France invaded Germany. Nobody remembers that fact today. Heh-heh.
