Math Problem for Old Guys

The first part is an actual math problem from the old days. I decided to write about it today after I just paid 68 cents for a first class stamp at a postal annex: Billy had 75 cents. He went to the post office and bought 5 first class stamps for 5 cents each. And he bought 4 post card stamps for 3 cents each. (New part.) Billy decided to buy cokes (10 cents each) and Hershey bars (5 cents each) for himself and his friends Sam and Jeff. He had 3 cents left over. The question is: what year did this happen? Hint: Those were silver quarters he spent.

The Vigilant Fox 🦊 @VigilantFox Holy smokes. Suspicions confirmed. Former Pharma insider tells Tucker Carlson that the true goal of pharma ads on TV is not to sell drugs but to BUY OFF the news media. This is described as an "open secret" within the pharmaceutical industry. TUCKER: You're saying that pharma buys TV spots not to convince people to ask for specific drugs from their physicians, but to subvert the news business? CALLEY MEANS: This is an open secret working for pharma. TUCKER: I never thought of that. CALLEY MEANS: This is an open secret working for pharma. This is an open secret. The kind of silly ads you see between the news breaks, the points of ...

Contract Driver Jesse Morgan Vindicated Report CONFIRMS He Hauled Trailer of Ballots from NY to PA in Late October 2020 In June 2022, The Gateway Pundit reported that the United States Postal Service investigated the allegations by the truck drivers – but they would NOT release their report. Now this… The American Thinker published a report this weekend. The USPS finally released their report on the accusations of truck drivers hauling completed ballots across state lines into Pennsylvania before election day! Jesse Morgan was exonerated. No wonder they hid this for a year! The USPS is running ballots! Via Joe Fried at American Thinker. You might think that this is a yarn ...

Authored by Peter Reagan via Birch Gold Group, As it stands right now, it appears like Biden’s entire first term will have been plagued by varying degrees of unacceptable price inflation (some of which was historic). No matter how the corporate media spins it, he just can’t seem to lead the country out of this persistent economic trend. The rate of price inflation is easing, but core inflation remains at a pace not seen since the early 1990s. You can see both consumer price inflation (blue line) and core price inflation (red line) reflected on the official graph below: Unfortunately, the Fed’s efforts to ease inflation and the easing rate of inflation are both about to ...

The US has a $6 trillion problem over the next twelve months

by Sovereign Man Friday, Feb 02, 2024 - 6:43 by James Hickman via Schiff Sovereign Yesterday the Treasury Department announced that they expected to increase the national debt by a whopping $760 billion this quarter alone… and another $202 billion next quarter. In short that means almost $1 trillion added to the national debt just in the first half of this year. And, again, these are the Treasury Department’s own estimates. Obviously, that’s a pretty horrible result; even a senior Treasury official acknowledged that they have “significantly increased” their bond sales and the national debt. Not that they’re doing anything to stop the trend. But ...

Keep An Eye On The Alarming Natural Disasters That Are Happening In Hawaii And California

I believe that major natural disasters will be one of the dominant themes of 2024. Right now, a gigantic “Pineapple Express” storm is absolutely pummeling the state of California, and an even stronger “Pineapple Express” storm will hit the state right behind it. But authorities in California will really get bent out of shape if we say that these storms could potentially be part of a catastrophic multi-week pattern that many have suggested may or may not be developing. Meanwhile, the state of Hawaii is being rocked by hundreds and hundreds of earthquakes. In fact, we are being told that there were more than 220 earthquakes in just one 24 hour period earlier this ...

If we’ve learned one thing over the last three years, it’s that abiding by centuries-old medical ethics, like asking questions, is what White Supremacists™ and domestic terrorists do. Via the soon-to-be-memory-holed American Medical Association webpage on informed consent: “Informed consent to medical treatment is fundamental in both ethics and law. Patients have the right to receive information and ask questions about recommended treatments so that they can make well-considered decisions about care. Successful communication in the patient-physician relationship fosters trust and supports shared decision making. The process of informed consent occurs when ...

Kim Dotcom @KimDotcom When you understand the dire financial situation of the US you understand that there is no off-ramp. It doesn’t matter who the next US President is. Prepare for the worst. Poster Comment:My tweet (comment) At least 3 million Americans starved to death in the 1930s. There were 123 million Americans in 1929, over 334 million today, if you count the illegal aliens. I expect 30 million to die from starvation and violence if we fail to change our government.

Budgets for high-end projects have skyrocketed, as homeowners opt for larger and more luxurious spaces On an October evening, Kimmie Turiansky and four girlfriends sipped pink champagne in her Bedminster, N.J., home as they prepared for a night out. Chandeliers illuminated silk wallpaper and pink window treatments as pop music blared, while the women swapped clothes and perched on window seats. The primary setting for all this activity wasn’t Kimmie’s bedroom or bathroom, but the roughly 470-square-foot closet she created at a cost of roughly $120,000 during a recent home renovation. “It didn’t feel like this was my house until this was done,” Kimmie, 49, said ...

The quarterly census reveals a stark contrast, with a meager 332k private sector job gains in Q2 ’23, painting a different picture than the advertised surge in nonfarm payrolls. The hefty downward revisions further add to the skepticism, uncovering a reality where job gains are roughly half of what was initially presented.
